Rivendell Development was formed by M. Stephen Meek, a proponent of smart growth and new urbanism development with extensive development expertise acquired over 25 years at The Staubach Company, Post Properties, Carbon Development, and CLB Partners. He has been involved in the development of numerous properties throughout the United States leading the trend of urban revitalization and adaptive re-use to create vibrant mixed-use urban neighborhoods.
Neil Kirchhofer, Controller, comes to Rivendell Development with over 20 years of experience across a range of industries including real estate, venture capital investing, building materials distribution and public accounting. Neil oversees the accounting and reporting activities and is involved in finance and administrative functions. He earned a B.S. degree in Accountancy from the University of Illinois and is a CPA. Neil and his wife, Kristi, along with their two children, are active in Fellowship Bible Church Dallas.
Matt Lewis, Development Associate, assists with the evaluation of potential developments and the management of current projects. He is a member of The Real Estate Council's Young Guns, SMU Real Estate Society, Urban Land Institute, Congress for the New Urbanism, and World Affairs Council.
